This question could be broadened to say, “What is the purpose of any intelligence in anything that lives?” Purpose of Innate is to PROduce intelligent action and to REPROduce intelligent duplicated forms. Intelligence prevents matter from doing wrong and keeps matter working in constructive grooves.
